I provide compassionate, individualized child counselling for children (12+) and their families, tailoring each session to meet the unique needs of every child. Using a person-centred approach in my family therapy sessions, I prioritize understanding each child's experiences, strengths, and challenges, creating a safe space where they feel heard, respected, and supported.
To integrate emotional growth, resilience, and regulation, I employ therapeutic tools drawn from Somatic Experiencing, which helps children process stress and trauma through body-based awareness. Additionally, I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) when age-appropriate, providing practical strategies to manage thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
By combining these approaches in my youth counselling practice, I work alongside children and families to foster understanding, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change—ensuring that every child receives the support they need to thrive.
